JurisAI connector for Claude

Legal research for Cypriot law inside Claude: court decisions, legislation and the citation links between decisions.

What it is

JurisAI is a legal research platform for Cypriot law, built by ICIDA Technologies. The connector lets Claude search JurisAI's corpus of Cypriot case law and legislation, open full decisions and follow how decisions cite each other. It is a research tool, not a law firm: results are AI-assisted research over primary sources and are not legal advice (see the Terms of Use).

Before you connect

You need a JurisAI account. Create one for free at jurisai.icida.com.cy/signup with an email and password, and verify your email.
The account's daily free searches and wallet are shared between the connector and the JurisAI website.

Connect JurisAI to Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name: JurisAI. Remote MCP server URL: https://api.jurisai.icida.com.cy/mcp/
Click Connect. A JurisAI sign-in window opens (OAuth 2.0). Sign in, or create an account, and approve access.
The six tools below are now available. Ask Claude a question about Cypriot law, for example: “Find Supreme Court decisions on unfair competition and summarise the main conclusions.”

You can disconnect at any time by removing the connector in Claude's connector settings. Do not paste an API key into the URL: the sign-in flow above needs only the URL.

search_case_lawDaily free searches, then wallet

Natural-language search of Cypriot court decisions (hybrid semantic and full-text). Results can include company-registry and Official Gazette cross-references.

Arguments: query, limit (default 10), date_from / date_to (YYYY-MM-DD, optional)

search_legislationDaily free searches, then wallet

Keyword search of Cypriot legislation. Works best with a specific law, article or topic.

Arguments: query, limit (default 10, max 25)

get_decision_detailsFree

Full text of one decision, returned in chunks with a summary. Long decisions continue with offset.

Arguments: decision_id (from search results), offset (default 0)

list_recent_decisionsFree

The most recent decisions ordered by decision date, optionally filtered by court or legal area.

Arguments: court_name, legal_area, limit (default 10) — all optional

get_related_decisionsFree

Citation network of a decision: what it cites and what cites it. Where classified, the relationship (for example distinguishes or overrules) with the supporting quote. Relationship labels marked pending have not yet been human-reviewed.

Arguments: decision_id, limit (default 15)

Typical flow: search_case_law returns decisions with a decision_id; pass that id to get_decision_details to read the full text and to get_related_decisions to see how the decision has been treated.

Pricing and billing

Only search_case_law and search_legislation are billed. Each plan has daily free searches (the free plan has 10 per day, resetting at midnight UTC).
After the free searches are used, each search is charged to your JurisAI wallet at about €0.10, less on paid plans. Every search result shows what was charged and your remaining balance. If a search fails, the free search or the charge is returned automatically.
A search is rejected with a clear message, before anything is charged, if you have no free searches left and your balance is too low.
No tool deletes or changes legal data. The only state change is the wallet charge and usage record for billed searches.

Privacy and data

The connector receives the queries you send through Claude and your account identity (through OAuth) so that searches can be counted and billed. It does not read your Claude conversation history or files. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in window does not open or closes: allow pop-ups for claude.ai and try Connect again.
A search is rejected for low balance: your daily free searches are used and the wallet cannot cover the price. The message states the balance and the amount needed. Top up in the wallet page of the JurisAI dashboard, or wait for the daily reset.
No results for a company or person: search for the name only, for example the company name without its registration number.
Connector shows old tools: remove and re-add the connector so Claude refreshes the tool list.
